Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PortEscort ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
Description of Service
PortEscort provides an online platform for scheduling security escorts at MTSA-regulated port facilities. The Service connects visitors who require escorted access with facilities that provide escort services.
User Accounts
You must create an account and complete identity verification to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Scheduling and Payments
Service fees are set by individual facilities and are displayed before you confirm an appointment. Payment is collected at the time of scheduling. Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each facility and are displayed during the scheduling process.
User Conduct
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including MTSA requirements, when using the Service and visiting facilities. You agree not to misuse the Service, provide false information, or interfere with the operation of the platform.
Facility Responsibilities
Facilities using PortEscort are responsible for maintaining their own security procedures, MTSA compliance, and Facility Security Plans. PortEscort is a scheduling and administrative tool and does not replace a facility's security obligations.
Limitation of Liability
PortEscort provides the Service on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to appointment cancellations, facility access denials, or security incidents. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific appointment in question.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
